Welcome to James Fisher Medical Centre

All aspects of health care are currently experiencing extreme pressure. To manage the demand safely we ask that acute medical problems are phoned into the surgery between 8am and 10am. After this time only urgent problems which require on the day treatment will be addressed. Routine appointments should be used where possible.
Fair access for all in need has never been more vital. We thank you for your understanding, patience and consideration towards all our community.
Please be reassured you will be seen face to face if necessary following initial phone contact with a GP.
Please consider alternative sources of healthcare support such as your pharmacist or the NHS website.
We do not tolerate rude or aggressive behaviour towards our staff. Please remember that our Reception staff are acting on the instruction of the GPs.
Please wear a face mask at the surgery to protect our more vulnerable patients.
