ONLINE ACCESS TO GP SERVICES:
Please follow ONLINE SERVICES link under Further Information at the end of this page.
All patients at this practice are allocated a named GP (this is your registered GP). Should you wish to know who this is please ask the receptionist or clinician at your next visit. You are still able/welcome to book appointments with the GP of your choice but your registered GP is responsible for your overall care.
Introducing the Electronic Prescribing Service
James Fisher Medical Centre has introduced the Electronic Prescription Service. This should make collecting repeat prescriptions easier and more convenient for you as this service gives you the option to ‘nominate’ the pharmacy you choose to get your regular medication or appliances from. Your GP will then send your prescription electronically to them directly and your medication will be ready for you to collect in about two working days. This will therefore save you a trip to the surgery just to collect a prescription form.
Further details are available in the information sheet below.
